Internal Bleaching
Discoloration of anterior teeth is an esthetic problem that can often be successfully corrected by a procedure called internal bleaching.
Internally bleaching a tooth involves placement of a bleaching agent into the empty pulp chamber of the non-vital, discolored tooth. The bleaching agent is covered and sealed in the tooth with a temporary filling. This procedure is repeated every three to four days until successful bleaching becomes apparent. This normally occurs after one to four visits.
Ask Dr. Reyes if you may be a candidate for internal bleaching.
